What is Lip Blushing?

How long does it last? Up to 4 years, depending on the color chosen as well as several other factors such as sun exposure, smoking, and lip exfoliation, etc.

Before Care

+ Don’t tan or have a sunburned face on the day of your procedure

+ Don’t work out or sweat heavily and avoid caffeine or alcohol 24 hours before the treatment

+ No waxing or tinting three days before the appointment

 

Lip Blushing Healing Process and Aftercare

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo, so there will be a healing process. Your lips will look shiny, bright, and stained. Don't worry; this won't last. Your lips will need about 4 weeks to heal completely, and while they do, the ink will slowly fade and blend naturally with your lip colour, leaving a natural but brighter look and colour.

In the first week, you'll experience some scabbing. Leave any scabs alone, as picking them can affect colour pigmentation. It's essential to keep your lips moisturized with a heavy-duty SPF lip balm in the first few weeks. Avoid touching anything with your lips that will irritate them, and try to keep the area clean with fragrance-free cleansing wipes whenever possible. 

As your lips heal, avoid workouts, kissing, and spicy foods so as not to irritate the area. Swimming and cosmetics can also irritate the healing area, so avoid contact.
